Even though the Maersk Forwarder is equipped with computerised Dynamic Positioning systems (DP), which can maintain the ships' position automatically,
manual joystick maneuvering is frequently practiced. In adverse weather conditions or in case of DP break down, manual control is still often the best
or only possible way to control the ship. |

The North Sea is famous and respected for its poor weather, but it's not bad all the time. A beautiful spring evening like this is not uncommon. |
