After graduating from the Senior Dual Officer studies at the academy I was successful in my application to sign with Maersk Supply Service. My first assignment saw me return to the "Maersk Forwarder", where I had also spent 3 months as a cadet 5 years earlier.

A look down port side passage way alongside the cargo deck. Some of the manifolds for cargo transfer hoses are visible (base oil and brine). The yellow hatch is one of the engine room emergency exits.

At 965 square meters, the F-type supply ships are still considered to have a very large cargo capacity, despite being 20 years old. No wonder they have seen constant employment ever since joining the fleet in the beginning of the 90'ies.
Aft of us is another f-type.
A typical officer's cabin on the F-type supply vessels. Quite cozy and spacious, and with refrigerator and flat screen sat-tv.
One of the smaller cabins, used for ekstra officers and ratings.

Three laid up supply ships. Mooring outside other ships is a common sight in this busy port.
Two other Ulstein buildings, the Malaviya Twenty and the Malaviya Thirty, shifting berth in Aberdeen. The port is always busy with arrivals, departures and shiftings.

The Island Constructor is currently the largest X-bow offshore vessel in the world. Magnificent ship!
